What’s on Macan? To celebrate Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day on 17 August 2024, Museum Macan is preparing exciting series of events where visitors can enjoy the museum beyond normal operating hours, along with ticket promotions.
INDEPENDENCE DAY PROMOTION

Enjoy a special ticket price of Rp45,000,00 by wearing red and/or white. This promotion is available for all categories with a purchase from Museum Macan’s ticketing at level 2.
MACAN AFTERHOURS
10:00-21:00
MACAN Afterhours is a special night where the museum and exhibition area is open until 21:00. This program has been regularly held since 2023 and presents a variety of programs and activities that visitors can enjoy throughout the day such as public tours, a range of childhood games, #MenaridiMACAN, a self-photo studio, and food and beverage booths.

Explore the ‘Patricia Piccinini: CARE’ exhibition with Museum Macan’s curatorial team. There will be two sessions for visitors to participate with registration.
MERDEKA! SPECIAL MINI GAMES

To bring back fond childhood memories, Museum Macan presents an array of mini games for visitors to join, including Jenga and Rock-Papers-Scissors as well as a trivia quiz. These games will be held as competitions with prizes for each winner.
#MENARIDIMACAN: SWING THE NIGHT AWAY
18:00-21:00
Celebrating love, hope, and self-expression, visitors will be invited to join #MenaridiMACAN: Swing the Night Away together with the INDOSWING community. This session starts with an introduction to Lindy Hop, a dance style originating from the African-American community in Harlem, New York City, United States. Lindy Hop combines various dance moves including jazz, tap, breakaway and the infamous 1920 Charleston’s. The session will then continue with an interactive social dance accompanied with Swing jazz songs from the 1930s-1950s era.
JAJAN DI MACAN: KATINA

To complete an enjoyable visiting experience on the weekend, Museum Macan is proud to present Jajan di MACAN, an exciting food program in collaboration with various F&B tenants like Moodybakerr, Katina, and Lunch for My Husband. A special menu is curated for the collaboration and only available to enjoy in Museum Macan.
The program was launched on Saturday and Sunday, 27-28 July 2024 together with Moodybakerr. The following Jajan di MACAN will be held on the 17-18 August 2024 from 11:00-18:00 with a special menu of gelato and dessert from Katina.
