A Dialogue in Glass

The timeless allure of Murano glass takes on a contemporary expression as VENINI, founded in 1921 and celebrated for its artistic glassmaking heritage, renews its creative dialogue with internationally renowned architect Peter Marino. Their latest collaboration unfolds through Cilindro con Piatto Incalmato, a limited-edition collection of sculptural vases that brings together refined form, vibrant colour, and the enduring artistry of Venetian glassmaking.

Defined by clean lines and a sculptural presence, the collection explores the interplay between crystal transparency and colour. Its distinctive character comes from the combination of sommerso and incalmo, two demanding techniques that require exceptional precision from VENINI’s master artisans. Together, they create subtle chromatic transitions and a rich sense of depth within the glass.

The collection is offered in two colour interpretations. The first features an apple-green band suspended within transparent crystal, while the second introduces gold leaf into the dialogue between crystal and green, adding a more precious dimension through delicate reflections.
