A Subtle Interplay of Transparencies, Reflections, and Materials

At Milan Design Week 2026, Dior Maison continues its collaboration with award-winning designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance, unveiling new Corolle lamps that translate couture into luminous form. Initiated in 2019, the creative dialogue enters into the realm of collectible design—where objects become narrative, immersive works.

Drawing on his organic design language, Duchaufour-Lawrance treats light as both medium and material, transforming immaterial effects into sculptural presence. The lamps reinterpret the iconic New Look silhouette of Christian Dior through fluid, skirt-like curves. Crafted in mouth-blown Murano glass, they reveal a refined interplay of transparency, reflection, and tone, in Dior’s signature palette of grey, pink, and white.

“Light projections are as important as the work on the material that gives rise to them; they develop into a formal language of their own and their immateriality becomes something tangible. Through these reflections, light itself turns into matter.” – Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance.

The collection extends to woven bamboo light pieces made from madake fibre in Japan, echoing the house’s cannage motif while highlighting global artisanal savoir-faire. Each lamp is engraved with the “CD” initials,

This new project is seen as a sophisticated evolution of Dior’s design language—blurring art, design, and scenography. More than functional objects, these works embody a spatial expression of couture, shaped with the precision and patience of the House’s ateliers.
