Milan Design Week 2024
Marsèll inaugurates its first flagship store in Milan with an event, which not only introduces the space but presents a series of artistic interventions to complement and complete the brand’s narrative. In this sense, the footwear and accessories brand manifests its very essence: the exploration of form in all its semantic declinations.

For the opening evening, every space within Marsèll Milano Spiga is occupied. The street window overlooking the ‘gallery’ hosts a temporary installation of three design objects created by Berlin-based architecture Studio Gonzalez Haase. This exclusive installation anticipates the upcoming collaboration between the brand and the artistic duo, due to unfold during Milan Design Week 2024 and which includes an exhibition at the Marsèll Showroom (Via Paullo 12/A) and a new exclusive project for the boutique on Via Della Spiga.

The basement will host an audiovisual installation curated by Italian-Australian artist Rebecca Salvadori, with whom Marsèll collaborated last year to co-produce Messengers, a film partly recorded at Marsèll Paradise Milano (Via Privata Rezia 2), where the film set was open to the public, making visitors an integral part of the project.

As always, Marsèll wishes to offer a complete experience and no less on this occasion. The brand has chosen e/tape, one of the most talented artists on the international ambient scene, to create a musical backdrop to the evening, engaging guests in a fully immersive experience.

Known for its genderless, limited-edition leather products for everyday use, Marsèll goes beyond the idea of the brand, establishing itself as a project dedicated to the study and exploration of form, in every sense of the word.
