Gebrüder Thonet Vienna’s new seating collection: Mon-île by Sergio Bicego, Ample by Luca Nichetto, YOU by LucidiPevere embody the brand’s tradition and innovation. The three collections was presented during Salone del Mobile.Milan (MWW24) last April 2024.
Mon-île by Sergio Bicego
Sergio Bicego has designed a new family of upholstered furniture, Mon-île, which includes a sofa and armchair that create an intimate and inviting domestic space. The collection features woven cane and bent wood backrests, which can be replaced by upholstered backrests. Two ash wood side tables with woven cane inserts are also included. Mon-île combines luxurious materials with discreet elegance, providing an intimate and cosy daily comfort that caters to contemporary homes’ spatial needs.

Ample by Luca Nichetto
Nichetto Studio has created the Ample chair, a sinuous chair with a comfortable seat and backrest, preserving the traditional steam bending art of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH. This timeless elegance is ideal for both residential and contract use, showcasing craftsmanship and innovation.
‘As we approached this project we started thinking of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH’s iconic designs. We wanted to keep what’s at the core of the brand whilst injecting it with new technology by working with a material new to the company, metal, therefore creating a connection between past and present. The result of this merger between craftsmanship, tradition, and innovation is Ample, a chair with a sinuous shape, generous seat, and a comfortable backrest ideal for both residential and contract markets.’ – Luca Nichetto, Founder of Nichetto Studio
YOU by LucidiPevere
The YOU stackable chair by LucidiPevere in 2024 embodies the minimalist design of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna GmbH, offering versatility and functionality. Its elegant, curved solid arch enhances the side profile and ensures stability during stacking. The beech frame supports a shell that can be natural or colored, with the option to pad in shades or contrast. This versatile bistro chair combines irreverent playfulness with modular eclecticism for infinite stories.
