Bloom Collection – Brand New Capsule Collection Edge

After the recent Parisian success at Maison&Objet, Milla&Milli is getting ready to attend the Salone del Mobile.Milano 2024 with fresh energy. The protagonist of the exhibition area, in addition to other successful designs such as the Bloom collection – Bloom Icon won the 2024 German Design Award – will be the brand new capsule collection Edge, signed by Alain Gilles.

Unveiled for the first time in Paris, the collection, which to date included a table, bench, and bookcase, now offers an extension of the range with new items, all to be discovered. The soft lines of the horizontal planes that are harmoniously combined with more rigorous architectural legs and uprights are the common denominators of the different products whose concepts are both dynamic and sculptural. Made of 6 cm solid oak wood by expert master craftsmen, in natural or Matt black oil finish, the capsule collection fully expresses the great expertise of the Croatian high-end furniture production company as well as Alain Gilles’ unique design sensitivity.

Born in Brussels in 1970, the Belgian designer has developed his approach to furniture design over time and has become a widely appreciated name in the furniture, lighting, and fashion industries. Since 2007, he has been working in important collaborations with international companies including the French brand Ligne Roset and Bonaldo, Miniforms, Varaschin, and Fratelli Rossetti in Italy. His products have won several important awards and in 2012 he was named “Designer of the Year” by the prestigious trade fair Interieur in Kortrijk, Belgium.
