Dior transplants the Tuileries to Jakarta: a parisian garden at Plaza Senayan

Dior turns Plaza Senayan into a Parisian stage, transplanting the Tuileries—and Jonathan Anderson’s latest Dior vision—to Jakarta.

Inspired by the scenography of Jonathan Anderson’s Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 show, Dior brings its Parisian garden to Plaza Senayan from 12 August to 2 September 2026. Jakarta holds a particular distinction as the exclusive Southeast Asian destination for this prestigious A Parisian Garden installation.

The special occasion was marked by an intimate cocktail celebration attended by rapper and singer Mingyu, who arrived dressed in Dior, adding a contemporary star presence to the Parisian-inspired setting. The evening also offered a first glimpse of the Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 collection, bringing Anderson’s latest Dior vocabulary from the runway into Jakarta.

Reimagining the historic Tuileries—commissioned by Catherine de’ Medici and redesigned under Louis XIV—the installation captures the garden’s timeless theatre of seeing and being seen. Visitors stroll above a pond scattered with water lilies, recalling the Grand Bassin Octogonal of Anderson’s Paris runway, surrounded by tall trees, French-style flowerbeds and the Tuileries’ unmistakable green chairs.

Within this living tableau, Jonathan Anderson’s latest Dior creations emerge almost as discoveries along the promenade. The Lady Dior, Dior Promenade and Dior Toujours Hobo punctuate the landscape, while floral details honour Monsieur Dior’s enduring passion for nature. Exclusive pieces featuring the Dior Water Lily motif, including the Lady Dior and Dior Book Tote, complete the garden narrative.

A Parisian Garden pop-up installation brings the Tuileries’ theatre of fashion and life from Paris to Jakarta—turning Plaza Senayan into a fleeting Parisian stage and placing the city firmly on Dior’s Southeast Asian map.
