A Study in Form
Rooted in decades of design culture, Agape approaches the bathroom not as a fixed typology, but as an evolving architectural language.

For 2026, the brand presents a body of new products, updates, and re-elaborations shaped by a consistent philosophy: returning to essential design questions and allowing them to remain open. Rather than seeking resolution, Agape frames design as an ongoing inquiry—one that revisits archetypal forms while subtly redefining their boundaries.

This approach is expressed in the new collaboration with David Chipperfield. Tambre, a bathtub crafted in okumè plywood, balances warmth and precision through a construction that remains intentionally legible. In its most integrated form, bathtub and washbasin merge into a single volume, dissolving conventional separations and rethinking the spatial logic of the bathroom.

Across the collection, this dialogue between continuity and evolution unfolds through material and structure. Patricia Urquiola’s Fuente extends the Bloque system with a washbasin that negotiates between soft and rigorous geometries, while Neri&Hu’s Pitch introduces movement—elements pivot, slide, and shift, transforming static compositions into responsive, everyday interactions.

Re-editions and refinements further reinforce this narrative. OLC by Benedini Associati returns with updated proportions and a more fluid profile, while Immersion Round by Neri&Hu offers a more intimate interpretation of the Japanese soaking tub, encouraging a slower, more contemplative ritual.

Material exploration remains central. Marco Zito’s Massicci contrasts the weight of concrete with the translucency of cast glass, amplifying its architectural presence. Meanwhile, Memory Classic revisits marble through soft, continuous forms—not as a reference to the past, but as part of an ongoing process of reinterpretation.

Completing the presentation, Agapecasa reintroduces the Schwob table by Angelo Mangiarotti and Bruno Morassutti—a precise composition of aluminium and marble that bridges historical context with contemporary production.

Across each piece, Agape does not seek to redefine its identity, but to refine it, quietly reinforcing a design language where form remains open, materials remain expressive, and the relationship between object and space continues to evolve.
