Previews dedicated to products and special initiatives by Amini, Ceccotti Collezioni, Desalto, and Luceplan

Milan Design Week 2026 marks the 64th edition of the world’s leading design event, returning this April as a global stage for innovation, craft, and creative exchange.

This edition reflects how design continues to evolve, as a selection of previews unfolds through material exploration, sculptural clarity, and a refined sense of authorship.

Amini
Exploring the rug as a collectible form, Amini expands textile into the realm of art. In collaboration with R & Company, Woven Forms II marks the second edition of a group exhibition bringing together eight artists and designers around the rug as a collectible artwork. No longer just a decorative surface, it is reimagined as a three-dimensional canvas—sculptural, tactile, and conceptually rich. Featuring new works by Serban Ionescu, Joyce Lin, Roberto Lugo, Luam Melake, Rich Mnisi, Marilyn Pappas, Zizipho Poswa, and Sayar & Garibeh, the exhibition is set to open on April 1.

Ceccotti Collezioni
A dialogue between heritage and new perspectives defines Ceccotti’s latest chapter.

Baldwin by Jean-Marie Massaud

Marking its first collaboration with david/nicolas, the brand introduces the Scapula small armchair—where a clean, graphic silhouette recalls 1950s Scandinavian design, gently softened by subtle Art Deco nuances. Alongside it, the Baldwin coffee table system by Jean-Marie Massaud reflects a quiet mastery of proportion and material, with the presentation set to debut on April 1.

Desalto
Material refinement becomes the focus as Desalto revisits an enduring icon.

The Clay table by Marc Krusin is presented in new wood finishes—natural ash, charcoal ash, and eucalyptus—enhancing the depth and tactility of its form. Extended across Clay Oval and Maxi Clay, these finishes offer a richer dialogue between surface, scale, and craftsmanship.

Luceplan
Balancing legacy with innovation, Luceplan continues to evolve its lighting language.

To mark 40 years of Costanza by Paolo Rizzatto, Costanza 40 introduces three new lampshades that gently renew the identity of the design while preserving its lightness and balance. The presentation is accompanied by new collections from Umut Yamac, Zsuzsanna Horvath, and Marco Spatti—each reflecting the brand’s ongoing exploration of light as both function and atmosphere.

Together, they reflect a shared direction—design as both expression and intention.
