Dialogue Between Craft and Contemporary Living – Tokyo Edition until April 19, 2026.
Jia CURATED opens as a platform where craft, design, and cultural narratives converge. In Tokyo, Road to Jia CURATED — Tokyo Edition continues beyond its opening weekend, extending an invitation into a quieter, more fluid dialogue shaped by space, material, and form until 19 April.

Set within (PLACE) by method, the exhibition unfolds with an intuitive rhythm. Visitors move freely through the space—encountering works of varying scales, from sculptural furniture to tactile textiles—each carrying a quiet intention that encourages pause without demanding it.

Across furniture, objects, and material explorations, the exhibition reads as a continuous narrative rather than a series of standalone pieces. It traces the evolving landscape of Indonesian design today, where designers navigate the space between heritage and innovation with a sensitivity that feels both grounded and forward-looking.

There is a softness in the way materials are expressed—woven surfaces, organic silhouettes, and muted tones that subtly echo both locality and universality. Together, they shape an experience that feels less like observation and more like immersion, where design becomes a medium for cultural dialogue.

Beginning in Tokyo and continuing to Bali this August, Road to Jia CURATED marks the opening chapter of a broader journey toward Jia CURATED 2026—one that connects craft, design, and culture through ongoing exchange and collaboration.
