Between Strength and Fragility, Darkness and Light, Armor and Release
On 11 November, House of Harry Halim transformed The Brickhall, FCC Jakarta, into a stage for emotional reckoning with the debut of “11/11”, his evocative Spring/Summer 2026 collection. Rooted in the symbolism of the angel number—a universal signifier of awakening—Halim’s presentation unfolded as a meditation on duality: between strength and fragility, darkness and light, armor and release.

“‘11/11’ reflects the space between shadow and light, between strength and surrender,” said Harry Halim, Creative Director.

Act 1: Monochrome
The show opened with an arresting sequence of black-and-white looks that read like modern ceremonial armor. Sculpted tailoring, commanding shoulders, and architectural silhouettes established a mood of disciplined power. A defining moment emerged in the form of a crinoline “cage” skirt—its sculptural hoops dressed in delicate lace—bridging Victorian echoes with Halim’s signature contemporary drama. Models with crow-wing headpieces and angelic hair formations heightened the surreal, almost metaphysical atmosphere.

Act 2 : A Softening of Edges
Midway through, the collection shifted into a tender, introspective register. The rigid monochrome dissolved into whisper-soft layers in muted hues—mauve, sage, grey, and nude—revealing transparency, movement, and emotional vulnerability. The silhouettes relaxed, evoking a sense of letting go, of shedding defences to reach a softer truth.

Craft, Symbolism & Precision
Halim’s mastery lies not only in silhouette but in symbolism. Leather structured pieces, lacework, tailored suiting, denim accents, and textural contrasts created a tactile narrative of resistance and release. Each garment carried a sense of inner architecture—clothes built not merely to adorn the body, but to express a psychological metamorphosis.

With “11/11”, Harry Halim enters a new chapter, broadening his creative vocabulary through daring explorations of architectural form.
