Selain koleksi Spectrum Rugs yang akan ditampilkan di ajang akbar pesta desain Salone del Mobile.Milano, Jan Kath jenama Jerman yang dikenal akan permadani hand-knotted juga akan memperlihatkan koleksi ‘Savonnerie Surprise’.
Koleksi ‘Savonnerie Surprise’ menafsirkan ulang desain tradisional melalui penggunaan warna-warna cerah dan percampuran elemen linier dan lini gratis. Dialog antara pola klasik dan grafis modern didukung oleh sifat tekstur permadani melalui materi wol dan sutra Cina sehingga menghasilkan efek kilau yang bervariasi dengan sudut pandang berbeda. Salah satu andalan dari koleksi ini tidak lain menampilkan kemewahan motif Baroque yang tidak asing yang kemudian direka ulang dengan bebas. Percampuran elemen linier, lini grafis dan percikan warna menghasilkan estetika baru tak terduga. (S&C)
