Previewed during Milano Design Week 2026 as part of the Fuorisalone program, ARAN Cucine introduces a renewed interpretation of its iconic Volare kitchen. The restyling reflects a refined design approach centered on proportion, material continuity, and visual lightness—reimagining the balance between architectural structure and everyday living.

Unveiled at the brand’s Milan flagship store in the Porta Nuova district, the updated Volare marks a new chapter for one of ARAN Cucine’s most recognizable models. Through careful proportions and seamless surfaces, the design lightens visual volumes while maintaining a strong architectural presence, creating a kitchen environment that feels both grounded and fluid.

“Volare was conceived as a living architectural experience: every volume and opening defines a visual and tactile rhythm, modulating perception and accompanying the gestures of those who inhabit the space,” explains Ulisse Narcisi. “The kitchen thus becomes a place of connection and emotion, where solids and voids, light and matter engage in dialogue.”

Conceived as an integrated system for open-plan interiors, the kitchen highlights the expressive qualities of natural materials. Oak shapes the base units and island, bringing warmth and solidity to the composition, while the bold veining of Taurus gres used for worktops and backsplashes introduces a mineral depth that contrasts elegantly with the organic texture of wood.

Subtle details add further layers to the project’s identity. Wall units with LPL Sabbia interiors reveal a restrained chromatic accent—an almost couture-like element that quietly emerges through everyday use. Meanwhile, the handleless channel system and titanium rail profiles trace clean horizontal lines, reinforcing the kitchen’s architectural rhythm while introducing a discreet technological touch.

“There is a moment in kitchen design when matter overtakes form and transforms it into emotion,” Narcisi adds. “Volare is not simply a kitchen—it is a domestic landscape sculpted in material, where light becomes a design element.”

Through this balance of craftsmanship, industrial precision, and material sensitivity, Volare reflects a contemporary domestic landscape—where architecture, design, and everyday rituals naturally come together.
