ANGELO CAPPELLINI COLLECTION

Dining Table
During Milan Design Week, Angelo Cappellini brings classicism to life with 2024 new product, a dining table in the style of Louis XVI. Characterized by a top crafted using high woodworking techniques and a solid beech wood structure, the table’s legs are adorned with hand-carved floral decorations in hazelnut color and antique gold leaf details. The top features a border in white ash burl, maple fillet, and blonde walnut slabs arranged in a sunburst pattern that converge at the center in the inlaid Angelo Cappellini logo. The table finishes highlight the wood grain with a transparent polish that showcases the material’s natural beauty. The dining table is surrounded by chairs and head chairs in the Louis XVI style, with oval backs upholstered in cream-colored fabric and legs in hazelnut with antiqued gold leaf details, also hand-carved.

Inside, the mirror is divided into individually crafted sections with bevelled edges that create an additional frame. Supporting it is a metal structure with a brushed brass finish that serves as a stand and has a dual function as a coat rack and bag holder.

OPERA CONTEMPORARY COLLECTION

Edith Table & Estelle Chair
The Edith Table, a 2024 addition by Opera Contemporary, is a dining table which top is crafted with a combination of materials and textures. The surface of the top, in a gray ash slab, is divided into four sections by golden metal rods that delineate and alternate the sense from horizontal to vertical. The 2 cm high edge of the top is made of dark oak slab, matching the legs’ tone, and where it is interrupted by metal, it follows the top slab’s pattern. The legs are made of solid wenge-finish ash wood, characterized by a grooved texture – reminiscent of Opera Contemporary’s iconic Dimitri collection – and golden metal tips.
