LOUIS VUITTON X SINGER TAKES TO THE ROAD: WHEN THE ART OF TRAVEL BECOMES A PORSCHE 911

Bringin together Louis Vuitton’s savoir-faire, Singer’s automotive craftsmanship and the Maison’s enduring art of travel

Louis Vuitton takes its celebrated Art of Travel philosophy onto the road, partnering with California-based Singer Vehicle Design on two extraordinary Porsche 911s. Revealed during Monterey Car Week 2026, the project brings together automotive engineering, fashion, watchmaking, leathercraft and the Maison’s century-old language of travel.

PORSCHE 911 – CLASSIC TURBO

The collaboration began with a seemingly modest request: a dashboard clock. Developed by Louis Vuitton’s Swiss watchmaking atelier, La Fabrique des Temps, the removable mechanical timepiece draws on the design of the Tambour and can be transformed into a desk clock. From there, the collaboration expanded across the cars—from instruments and controls to leatherwork, luggage and bespoke travel objects.

PORSCHE 911 – CLASSIC TURBO

The first, the Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer – Classic, is finished in Louis Vuitton’s saffron, cobalt blue and yellow. Its carbon-fibre body and natural-leather interior are punctuated by yellow stitching, Monogram Flower details and the diamond-patterned malletage associated with the Maison’s trunks. A sculpted roof rack carries a bespoke Louis Vuitton trunk, surfboard or skis, turning the car itself into an extension of the travel trunk.

Its accompanying Louis Vuitton capsule is equally specific to the car: a leather racing jacket, cotton-and-silk denim, LV Rally shoes and Derby hiking shoes, perforated driving gloves, a carbon-and-glass-fibre helmet & helmet bag and custom luggage including the historic Bisten and Keepall. Even the surfboard and skis were conceived as part of the automobile’s travel universe.

PORSCHE 911 – CLASSIC

The second car, the Classic Turbo Cabriolet, takes a more refined, Riviera-like direction under the creative vision of Nicolas Ghesquière, Louis Vuitton’s Artistic Director of Women’s Collections. Finished in limestone-inspired Calcaire Lutétien, it combines pale leather, gold accents and extensive varnished wood, evoking the elegance of a classic motorboat.

PORSCHE 911 – CLASSIC

Its own capsule follows the same nautical-meets-automotive vocabulary: a made-to-measure parachute-silk driving suit, LV Sneakerina shoes, gold Monogram sunglasses, driving gloves and a bespoke carbon-and-glass-fibre helmet, accompanied by custom luggage and coffrets designed to house the car’s Tambour clock and matching timepiece.

What makes the project compelling is that Louis Vuitton does not simply dress a Porsche in its codes. It builds an entire lifestyle around each car. The vehicle, wardrobe, luggage and objects are conceived as one coherent composition—an approach that transforms the automobile from transportation into a Louis Vuitton travel object.
