Shaping Light Through Glass
Glass has a way of changing how light is experienced, softening its presence while creating depth through texture and transparency. This interplay comes into focus in DRESS ME GLASS, the latest evolution of QU’s DRESS ME collection, presented during Milan Design Week 2026.

Designed by 23 Bassi Studio di Architettura, DRESS ME has evolved from a suspension system into a broader lighting family, while retaining its distinctive cylindrical form and turned aluminium body. With DRESS ME GLASS, a new family of glass diffusers introduces a softer, more decorative dimension to its technical foundation.

Transparent ribbed glass cylinders bring texture and a refined, vibrant light effect, while drop-shaped diffusers in transparent and sandblasted finishes soften the collection’s geometric language with more organic forms. Double and oblique double cylinders take the material exploration further, combining sandblasted inner glass with transparent outer layers to create visual depth and a more nuanced quality of light.

A 250 mm transparent glass sphere completes the new range, offering a fuller and more dramatic expression. Together, the different forms expand the compositional possibilities of DRESS ME, allowing light to become a more visible part of the space.

The collection retains the technical versatility of the original system, with LED sources exceeding 600 lumens and applications spanning residential, contract, and retail settings. It is available in finishes including Black, White, Extra Mirror, Gold, Bronze, Copper, Burnishing, and Corten, with customisation available upon request.

With its softer forms and layered glass diffusers, DRESS ME GLASS gives light a softer, more expressive presence, bringing a refined material character to the spaces it inhabits.
