A Capsule collection – “A Quiet After; Senyap”

In a daring cross-disciplinary collaboration, Gelap Ruang Jiwa and Magnum unveil a distinctive capsule collection inspired by Magnum’s latest Pistachio flavor. Echoing the fluidity of melting ice cream, the richness of pistachios, and the crisp geometry of chocolate fragments, the collection reinterprets these indulgent textures into bold metallic accessories crafted in silver, white gold, and gold finishes. Discover the collection at The Pillar, Plaza Indonesia, through 28 July.

Titled A Quiet After; Senyap, the collaboration transforms Magnum Pistachio’s layered composition into a series of sculptural jewelry and accessories. The signature crack of Belgian chocolate, velvety pistachio ice cream, almond fragments, and the familiar ice cream stick become visual references translated into fluid silhouettes, irregular textures, and expressive metallic forms.

Founded by Runa in 2019, Gelap Ruang Jiwa has built a reputation for treating jewelry as a poetic medium, transforming abstract emotions into handcrafted pieces through thoughtful material exploration. For this collaboration, the label expands its creative vocabulary while staying true to its artisanal identity, introducing a collection that captures the quiet satisfaction lingering after the final bite.

The capsule collection also marks several firsts for the brand. Modular earrings and brooches can be worn individually or assembled into dramatic compositions through interchangeable components and the label’s signature chain, allowing for versatile styling. Meanwhile, more compact, stone-accented pieces signal a move toward everyday wear without sacrificing the label’s distinctive sculptural language.

Material experimentation further defines the collection. Cast in bronze and finished with sterling silver 925 or rhodium plating, the accessories introduce a luminous white-silver finish inspired by Magnum’s white chocolate. Natural gemstones—including Tiger Eye, Smoky Quartz, and Peridot—mirror the rich browns and vibrant green of Magnum Pistachio, adding depth, warmth, and individuality to every piece.

Blurring the boundaries between fashion, craftsmanship, and culinary inspiration, A Quiet After; Senyap demonstrates how a fleeting sensory experience can be transformed into collectible wearable objects, where indulgence is preserved long after the final taste.
