Where Bold Objects Meet Gaetano Pesce’s Radical Vision in The Heart Of Puglia

VERO’s latest photo campaign, captured by Mattia Greghi, unfolds inside Il PescetrulloGaetano Pesce’s iconic house in the heart of Salento, Puglia. Here, color becomes structure, and architecture transforms into an almost surreal stage where design objects converse with space.

Chairs in bright iron, sculptural ceramics, lightweight shelves, and geometric modules inhabit Pesce’s radical architecture with ease. Greghi’s images highlight the tension between solid and playful forms, between material weight and creative lightness. The result is a visual narrative where VERO’s objects amplify the tactile, organic character of the house, blurring the line between the artificial and the natural.

For VERO, this project is more than a campaign—it is a return to origins. Born in Puglia, the brand continues to draw inspiration from the region’s landscape, craftsmanship, and light. Each collection channels a Mediterranean sensibility: bold yet essential, ironic yet poetic, rooted in tradition while open to global design culture.

With collaborations spanning Chiara Perano, Zaven, CARA \ DAVIDE, Lex Pott, and more, VERO’s catalogue offers a sincere vision of contemporary living. Honest materials, experimental processes, and enduring forms define a design language that feels both grounded and expressive—a true reflection of its name, vero: authentic, transparent, and timeless.
