Béton Littéraire (Literary Concrete), The Memory of Stone, and the Georgia conversation salon

Architect and designer Aline Asmar d’Amman presents three signature furniture collections at Galleria Rossana Orlandi during Milan Design Week, April 5–13, 2025. Her works—Béton Littéraire (Literary Concrete), The Memory of Stone, and the Georgia conversation salon—reflect a philosophy where culture, craftsmanship, and femininity intertwine.

Material poetry defines Asmar d’Amman’s practice, blending literary influence with sculptural precision. Béton Littéraire transforms books into structural elements, merging paper with fine marble. Crafted at Laboratorio Morseletto in Vicenza, The Memory of Stone upcycles local materials, fusing raw and polished surfaces. The Georgia salon, inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe, reinterprets Hollywood glamour through couture seating, handcrafted in France’s finest tapestry workshops.

Balancing brutalist forms with sensual curves, raw textures with artisanal refinement, these collections tell layered stories, embodying a cross-cultural dialogue of art and design.

Every encounter with Rossana is a treasurable celebration of creativity. Her communicative energy, her sharp eye, and unwavering commitment to contemporary creation are an effervescent promise of a joyful collaboration that resonates with the stories of my creations.” – Aline Asmar d’Ammn about Rossana Orlandi.
