Inspired by Scandinavian Landscapes

During the Milan Design Week 2024, ALPI showed its new collections, demonstrating once again its exceptional ability to reinvent wood. This year the inspiration was nature: internationally renowned designers collaborated with the Italian company, reinterpreting natural colours and landscapes to create new conceptual dimensions and original aesthetic interpretations of the wooden material.

The North Light range curated by Piero Lissoni is a new branch of the Xilo collection whose strength is based on the perfect intensity of nature, expressed by a balanced chromatic scale. North Light features the reproduction of three types of wood: maple, silver fir, and Scots pine. Grain can be straight or flamed. The maple is also available in a figured grain.

ALPI Xilo Ice is an interpretation of maple, known for its beauty and wide range of applications. Its pale, uniform hue makes it a popular choice for furniture. Available in straight, flamed, or figured grain.

ALPI Xilo Lynx reproduces the wood of the silver fir, whose soft, light texture makes it ideal for creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. Available in straight or flamed grain.

ALPI Xilo Elk replicates the Scots pine. Available in straight or flamed grain, appreciated for the way it imparts visual interest and personality to interiors.

“This is a collection of visually light woods that adapt to a wide range of contexts. They are refined, luminous, and natural-looking, with a quiet presence,” says Piero Lissoni.
