Introducing a New All-Day Dining Experience and Personalized Chocolate Journey
Set within Plaza Indonesia, one of Jakarta’s established luxury lifestyle destinations, KAKAW Fine Chocolate & Patisserie (the artisanal chocolate brand under Artisan Kuliner Group)enters a new chapter, evolving beyond its signature chocolate boutique into an all-day culinary destination. Bringing together artisanal chocolate, contemporary pâtisserie and French-inspired dining, the new location invites guests to discover, savour and linger—from personalised chocolate creations to a leisurely lunch, dinner or afternoon indulgence. Opened on 16 September 2026, it marks a significant evolution for KAKAW Fine Chocolate & Patisserie the following five years at Ashta District 8.

Accommodating more than 70 guests, KAKAW Plaza Indonesia offers a more expansive setting for lunch, dinner and casual afternoon indulgences, positioning the brand as a culinary destination in its own right.

A PERSONAL JOURNEY INTO FINE CHOCOLATE
At the heart of the boutique is the interactive KAKAW Chocolate Room, where chocolate discovery becomes a personalised experience. Guests can explore the collection, customise their own assorted chocolate boxes and watch their favourite chocolate bar transformed into a freshly prepared cup of hot chocolate.

KAKAW works exclusively with 100% couverture chocolate, prized for its cocoa butter content, smooth texture and refined finish. Its single-origin collection spans Ecuador, Venezuela, Madagascar, Côte d’Ivoire and Indonesia, each offering a distinctive expression of cocoa character. This philosophy extends across bonbons, gelato, pastries and cakes, including the signature Intense Chocolate Cake, available by the slice or as a whole cake.

From French Classics To Indonesian Favourites ( An All-Day Dining)
The defining addition at Plaza Indonesia is an all-day dining menu rooted in French culinary traditions and complemented by familiar Indonesian flavours. Beef Wellington and Salmon En Croute bring a sense of occasion, while Seafood Chowder Vol-au-Vent offers a comforting French-inspired classic.

The Indonesian selections introduce another dimension. KAKAW Gado-Gado revisits a beloved local staple, while Fried Duck Leg, Snapper Gulai and Oxtail Rawon bring rich, familiar flavours to the table. Prawn Aglio Olio adds an international favourite to the selection.

Among the signature menu highlights, Beef Wellington (IDR 345,000++) stands out as a substantial dining option, alongside Salmon En Croute (IDR 180,000++). For a distinctly Indonesian choice, Oxtail Rawon (IDR 280,000++) offers a rich, comforting alternative, while KAKAW Gado-Gado (IDR 95,000++) provides a lighter local favourite.

Cafe Pecan, Banana Toffee
Cacao Maritozzi, Intense Chocolate Cake
Signature Chocolate, Served Your Way
Chocolate remains the connecting thread throughout the experience. The Classic Chocolate – Madagascar 64% (IDR 90,000++) offers a direct expression of KAKAW’s fine-chocolate philosophy. Meanwhile, Marshmallow Chocolate (IDR 80,000++), Dirty Chocolate (IDR 80,000++) and KAKAW Mocca (IDR 80,000++) offer alternative interpretations for different moods and occasions.

For dessert, the Intense Chocolate Cake (IDR 85,000++ per slice; IDR 750,000++ whole cake) delivers a concentrated expression of cocoa, rounding off a meal or accompanying a leisurely afternoon indulgence.

With its expanded dining concept and interactive chocolate experience, KAKAW reimagines the possibilities of an artisanal chocolate boutique. Here, fine chocolate becomes more than a purchase or a dessert; it is an invitation to explore flavour, appreciate craftsmanship and enjoy a more considered culinary experience throughout the day.
