At Milan Design Week 2026, the Architecture & Design Commission of Saudi Arabia presents Jusoor Design Collections, marking the international debut of a cross-continental initiative that connects emerging Saudi designers with leading design brands from India, Nepal, and Spain.

Staged within the historic Sala delle Adunanze at Pinacoteca di Brera, and curated by Samer Yamani, the exhibition positions Saudi Arabia’s new generation of designers within a global dialogue shaped by collaboration, material exploration, and cultural exchange.

“Jusoor,” meaning “bridges” in Arabic, reflects the program’s core premise: fostering connections across geographies and disciplines. Developed by the Architecture & Design Commission in collaboration with Creative Dialogue and AMSY Lab, the initiative brings together five Saudi designers—Muotaz Abbas, Aseel Alamoudi, Abeer AlRabiah, Albandari Sulaiman, and Saud Alsaleh—with international partners including Klove Studio, Iwan Maktabi, and Lagranja Design.

The exhibition unfolds as a culmination of collaborative residencies and production processes spanning Riyadh, New Delhi, Kathmandu, and Barcelona. The resulting limited-edition works foreground dialogue as methodology, where craft traditions, advanced fabrication, and narrative-driven design converge.

Cora Jusoor
Among the highlights, Thanoon by Klove Studio and Muotaz Abbas translates the resilience of desert flora into a monumental sculptural lamp, while Takween by Klove Studio and Aseel Alamoudi explores the interplay between raw sandstone, hand-blown glass, and industrial steel.

Thanoon Jusoor | Tah Jusoor
The CORA Collection, developed with Iwan Maktabi, reimagines handwoven carpets as sculptural seating informed by coral ecosystems, balancing environmental reflection with material innovation. Meanwhile, the TAH Bookshelf by Lagranja Design and Saud Alsaleh adopts a spiraling metal form to express non-linear narratives of memory and knowledge.

Barcelona Workshop
Jusoor Design Collections emphasizes process—shared workshops, experimentation, and cross-cultural exchange—positioning contemporary Saudi design as both locally rooted and globally conversant.
