The House of Dior presents Dior by Mats Gustafson, Vol. II, featuring sketches of silhouettes by Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, meticulously drawn by Mats Gustafson. Gustafson’s poetic lines accurately capture the essence of Dior style, showcasing modernity and iconic pieces since 2012.

Through ink drawings, Mats focuses on the truth of garments, transcending context and ornamentation for a pure representation. His artistry highlights lace delicacy, embroidery complexity, and tactile textures through collage and watercolor with instinctive strokes. Gustafson’s compositions beautifully depict fabric draping and body-enhancing designs, echoing Monsieur Dior’s belief in the importance of movement in fashion. This anthology, published by Editions Rizzoli, includes illustrations from the Dior Autumn-Winter 2020-2021 collection and the Miss Dior dress for Natalie Portman.
