Presenting Saxum, Pebbles, Texture
From 30 March to 2 April, Casalgrande Padana heads to Coverings 2026, presenting its latest porcelain stoneware collections at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The showcase highlights a material-driven exploration of surface design, balancing technical performance with tactile and visual refinement.

SAXUM – beige naturale
At the forefront is Saxum, a collection that translates the primordial character of stone into contemporary porcelain. Defined by irregular veining, nuanced earthy tones, and subtly weathered textures, the series evokes surfaces shaped by time and natural elements. Its palette—ranging from Antracite to soft Perla—supports both interior and exterior applications, with finishes that shift from natural matte to a silk-like patina, alongside high-performance outdoor variants.

In contrast, Pebbles introduces a more graphic and decorative language. Composed of layered aggregates that mimic the randomness of stones and pebbles, the collection delivers a richly textured surface with a distinctly modern sensibility. Its adaptability spans residential and contract settings, with formats extending to large slabs and outdoor-ready solutions, reinforcing its versatility across spatial typologies.

Completing the presentation is Texture, a study in restraint and subtlety. With its soft, clouded appearance and refined tonal gradations, the collection emphasizes surface tactility through a “soft-touch” finish. Designed for holistic applications—from floors and walls to integrated architectural elements—Texture also incorporates variations such as Canvas and Canneté, expanding its expressive potential across different interior styles.

Together, Pebbles and Texture form part of the broader Elements system, where coordinated colours and complementary textures enable modular compositions. Conceived as a flexible design toolkit, the trio—including the wood-inspired Essence—offers architects and designers a cohesive yet dynamic approach to shaping contemporary interiors through material continuity and contrast.
