A Modern Wardrobe Designed for A Seamless Transition From day to Night

When five o’clock arrives, the city changes—and so does the woman moving through it. For “Kota Setelah Lima,” Elima explores the wardrobe of the urban woman in transition, moving effortlessly from the structure of the working day into the social rhythm of the city after hours. Presented at Fashion Nation 2026 – Senayan City, the collection features 22 looks built around versatility and adaptability.

Jackets, trousers, skirts, shirts, bibs and vests form the foundation, sharpened through contemporary proportions and unexpected details. A palette of black, navy, beige, brown and grey-green is energized by vivid green and electric blue, while pinstripes and checks add graphic definition.

Tailoring is the collection’s architectural backbone, softened by wide-leg trousers, fluid silhouettes, drapery and feminine embellishment. Utility-inspired pockets, strong piping and unfinished edges bring a modern attitude, while satin and sequins introduce a subtle evening sensibility.

Buttons remain one of Elima’s distinctive signatures. Explored through different shapes, sizes, materials and placements, they move beyond function to become graphic elements within the design. The result is a wardrobe that feels polished yet relaxed, balancing structure with movement. It also reflects Elima’s broader philosophy of creating contemporary pieces that are multifunctional, elegant, fashionable and comfortable.

Founded in 2021 by five women—Devi Asmarasari, Fransisca Siregar, Laila Azra, Natasya Mahidi and Nazli Basuki—the Jakarta-based label takes its name from the Hawaiian word for “five.”

Elima’s “Kota Setelah Lima” turns the transition from work to after-hours into a change of rhythm rather than a change of wardrobe—creating clothes designed to follow the urban woman wherever the city takes her next.
