Welcoming vibrant seasonal ingredients and wellness-driven cuisine
What does summer taste like at Milan’s acclaimed ethical restaurant HORTO? For Summer 2026, the answer unfolds through two vibrant tasting menus that celebrate the season’s finest produce, combining bold flavors with the restaurant’s unwavering commitment to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and wellbeing.

Guided by the culinary vision of Head Culinary Strategist Norbert Niederkofler and brought to life by resident chef Alessandro Pinton, HORTO’s renewed L’Ora Etica and Vegetali Mon Amour menus embrace the richness of summer with ingredients harvested at their seasonal peak. Fresh strawberries, peaches, apricots, cherries, cucumbers, peppers, aromatic herbs, freshwater fish, and garden vegetables are thoughtfully composed into dishes that balance flavor, nutrition, and contemporary Italian gastronomy.

Highlights from L’Ora Etica include Rainbow Trout with White Peach and Elderflower, Durum Wheat Risoni with Strawberries, Balsamic Vinegar and Caviar, Fettucce by Pastificio Mancini with Red Peppers, Liver and Thyme, and Veal Tongue with Red Wine, Parisienne Potatoes and Cherries. Meanwhile, the vegetarian Vegetali Mon Amour showcases the beauty of seasonal harvests with dishes such as Carnaroli Risotto with Fig Leaves, Handmade Tagliolini with Zucchini Blossoms and Agretti, Roasted Eggplant, and Cucumber, Marasca Cherries and Tigernuts.

Complementing the culinary experience are carefully curated wine pairings by resident sommelier Alessandra Veronesi, while guests seeking alcohol-free alternatives can enjoy HORTO’s house-crafted kombuchas, created by resident mixologist Daniele Sedicina. Available in three-, five-, and seven-course formats for lunch and dinner, HORTO’s Summer 2026 menus showcase exceptional taste come together in perfect harmony.
