A Taste of Seoul Arrives in Jakarta: 19 June – 31 July 2026 at The Drawing Room

The art of afternoon tea takes on a contemporary Korean expression as The St. Regis Jakarta unveils an exclusive collaboration with acclaimed pastry chef Eunjung Cho of Honeybee Seoul. Bringing together refined craftsmanship, cultural narratives, and modern patisserie, “A Tale of Three Heritages Afternoon Tea” presents an elegant dialogue between the culinary traditions of France, Korea, and Indonesia at The Drawing Room from 19 June to 31 July 2026.

Chef Eunjung Cho

Recognised as one of Seoul’s leading pastry talents, Chef Eunjung Cho has shaped Korea’s evolving dessert culture through her innovative approach to modern patisserie. Since founding Honeybee Seoul in 2013, she has established Korea’s first Café Dessert Master Class, inspiring a new generation of pastry enthusiasts and professionals. Her influence extends through her acclaimed publications, including Cookies, Café Dessert Masterclass, and The Seasons Dessert, as well as her latest ventures, Ouch and Touch, launched in 2024.

For this special collaboration, Chef Cho joins forces with The St. Regis Jakarta’s Executive Pastry Chef Kevin Lee to create a multi-sensory afternoon tea experience that celebrates the beauty of cross-cultural craftsmanship. Chef Kevin’s savoury creations reflect his French culinary heritage enriched with Indonesian flavours, while Chef Cho’s desserts capture the spirit of Seoul’s contemporary café scene through delicate techniques, premium ingredients, and the artistry of premium Valrhona chocolate.

Beyond a traditional afternoon tea, A Tale of Three Heritages becomes a journey of flavours and stories—where French elegance, Korean creativity, and Indonesian sensibilities are thoughtfully woven into every creation. Each pastry reflects Chef Cho’s signature philosophy: balancing precision with a sense of playfulness to transform desserts into memorable experiences.

The collaboration continues at Rosé Gourmand Deli with “A Slice of Seoul,” featuring Chef Cho’s beloved Bear Cake, an iconic creation that embodies her distinctive style through meticulous craftsmanship and charming visual expression.
