A New Artistic Chapter for Summer 2026

Unveiled during Jonathan Anderson’s first runway show for Dior, the Lady Dior enters a new artistic chapter for Summer 2026 through a collaboration with American textile artist Sheila Hicks.

Hicks reinvents the Lady Dior with cascading pompons arranged like flowing ponytails, creating what she describes as a “nest” of threads. Linen and silk intertwine in tactile layers, shifting the way the bag is worn—styled crossbody—and redefining how it is perceived: as an art form in motion.

This bold reinterpretation reflects Hicks’ enduring fascination with texture and form, while echoing Dior’s mastery of craftsmanship and innovation. Poetic yet experimental, the new artistic Lady Dior sits at the intersection of fashion, art, and imagination.
