Where Emotion, Craftsmanship, and Conscious Design Converge

At Jakarta Fashion Week 2026 (#JFW26), BIASA unveiled “Believe”—a collection that speaks less about trend and more about emotion, craftsmanship and conscious design converge. Conceived by Founder and Creative Director Susanna Perini, the 70-look presentation is a study in resilience, empathy, and the enduring role of the human hand in fashion’s increasingly automated world.

Soft layers of cotton mousseline, silk, linen, and chiffon form the foundation for sculptural silhouettes and fluid tailoring. The interplay of texture and transparency mirrors the tension between fragility and strength—a constant theme throughout the collection.

Fashion is a language for what words cannot express—resilience, beauty, and hope,” says Susanna Perini.

The Anatomy of Believe
The show unfolds in seven chromatic sequences, each representing a stage of emotional renewal—from awakening in bone white and wasabi green to introspection in translucent blues, duality in black and indigo, and grounded closure in brick and cacao. Together, they form a cohesive visual rhythm: contemplative, structured, yet quietly uplifting.

Craft as Counterpoint
BIASA’s
commitment to craftsmanship anchors the narrative. Techniques such as origami folding, ruching, pintucks, and hand embroidery give each piece a tactile authenticity. Hand-painted silks, brushed linens, and repurposed fabrics reinforce the brand’s sustainable vision, while laser-cut leather bags and distressed boots extend the dialogue into accessories.

Blurring couture sensibility with real-world wearability, Believe spans women’s, men’s, and unisex silhouettes, highlighting design fluidity as an expression of belief itself.

A Reflection of Humanity
Dedicated to the late Warwick Purser, an ardent supporter of Indonesian artisanship, Believe stands as a quiet manifesto: it is the mark of the human hand that gives fashion its soul.

Biasa’s Believe is a reminder that true beauty endures through empathy, purpose, and faith.
