SERVOMUTO X ARTHUR ARBESSER: HUF, A PLAYFUL TWIST ON LIGHTING

For Milan Design Week 2025, SERVOMUTO introduces Huf, a lamp that blurs the line between fashion and design. Conceived by Austrian designer Arthur Arbesser, Huf carries an effortless charm, mixing irony, color, and personality in a way that feels both fresh and familiar.

Huf reflects a design philosophy rooted in simplicity and curiosity.  “I love breaking away from industrial conventions with a deliberately naïve touch. Beauty, to me, lies in essentiality.” – Arthur Arbesser

Its name, taken from the German word for “horse’s hoof,” nods to the lamp’s distinctive U-shaped base in solid concrete. This sculptural foundation is echoed in the arched lampshade, which becomes a canvas for bold hues and Arbesser’s signature graphic patterns.

Available in four refined monochromes—mauve, orange, butter white, and light blue—or in three patterned variations, Huf adapts easily to different interiors. Two sizes (21.5 × 12 cm and 34 × 17 cm) make it equally at home on a console, beside a bookcase, or as a playful accent in any space.

Continuing SERVOMUTO’s mission to reimagine the classic lampshade, Huf is a lamp that doesn’t shout, but speaks volumes.
