Office Without Borders
Lapalma is presenting at the Orgatec Fair an open, hybrid, and flexible work environment, the outcome of a specific approach to design, perfectly in line with new trends.
Corporate business spaces, once cold and hierarchical, have evolved in recent years to increasingly become co-working spaces, but also, and above all, places for meeting and sharing ideas and experiences, designed for the well-being of those who use them, and with sustainability in mind.
In the Office without Borders by Lapalma, walls are replaced by modular partitions that meet the various needs of current dynamic projects, relying on inherent adaptability and fostering collaboration between people.
The stand, curated by Raffaella Mangiarotti, is an elegant, fluid, and streamlined environment, designed to drastically reduce waste materials and with new colour combinations, bringing together subtle shades and unusual pop touches.

Here, the various areas of the contemporary office, provided and customised by Lapalma, are presented as an open-plan arrangement and only separated by easily dismountable and re-usable partitions.
KIPU Club
From the reception area to a spacious lounge & relaxation zone, the visitor passes through an operational and co-working area onto the executive office. There is no lack of space dedicated to meetings and training and to the more conventional waiting room.

Last but not least, the Café area, at Orgatec, features a combined indoor and outdoor setting, which has its core in the central, circular hub.
LYT
The new products proposed at Orgatec include the WOD partition, designed by Raffaella Mangiarotti.
PLUS
Presented as a concept at the Salone del Mobile Milano and then further developed for its official launch at Orgatec in Cologne, the WOD partition consists of a succession of elements in wood or felt, joined by hide hinges, allowing it to fully adapt to a linear or curved position. WOD can be readily disassembled and, due to the various finishes the company offers, it easily blends in with different contexts, proving ideal for recreating private areas in open-plan settings in offices, hotels, or restaurants, as well as in sophisticated home interiors.
WOD
On the occasion of the tenth anniversary of KIPU, the collection of colourful poufs designed by Anderssen&Voll acquires a new product, which adds extra comfort to its usual softness. In addition, its comfortable upholstered backrest makes waiting times or breaks between one activity and another more pleasant. With KIPU Club, the informal pouf that can be freely positioned in any space becomes a real lounge armchair. Its generous dimensions and the soft embrace of its nest-like design make it suitable for more intimate and reserved waiting areas, in hotels and in corporate business environments, where it can be positioned on its own, in pairs or groups, and also combined with other poufs in the collection.

Lastly, some of the most recent proposals are also on show. LYT, the multifunctional side table designed by Klaus Nolting. Introduced at the Salone del Mobile Milano, it is available in all possible configurations: a classic side table with an original off-centre base, a side table with a light powered by a rechargeable battery, with an electric cable and wireless charging – also for the dimmable version, and lastly with an on-off light. Ideal as a multipurpose element in communal areas, relaxation areas, or waiting rooms of community or private spaces, with its personality LYT complements the office solutions proposed by the brand.
PLUS, the versatile seating system by Francesco Rota shows at Orgatec also the new curved elements with a backrest and seat that let you create new and sinuous shapes, perfect for large spaces and private interiors. With an interplay of concave and convex shapes, the PLUS sofa provides countless configurations and comfort, offering delightful face-to-face solutions, as well as wave and curve effects to suit all needs.
At the end of the trade fair, the Office without Borders by Lapalma will be disassembled, reconfigured, and reused. For if it is true that “living well makes for better living”, as the company’s payoff Design for better living goes, it is just as true that quality, now more than ever, rhymes with sustainability.
