In the heart of Milan, within a noble palace dating back to the early 1900s, an apartment with a classic flair revisits Parisian elegance in the Haussmann-Style. Bright, refined, and timeless, the main living room, with its semi-spherical shape, stands out for its 4-meter-high ceilings, white walls adorned with stucco and boiseries, and vintage oak parquet flooring. The spacious living area, boasting a charming balcony with a view, provides the per-fect setting for the products of the Acerbis collection. Each element blends effortlessly into the surrounding space, sparking an intense dialogue between avant-garde design and the classical architecture that defines the salon. The new proposals – Lokum and Élitra – seamlessly integrate with pieces from the Remasters collection – Free System, Due Più, Maestro, and Med – showcasing the versatility of a design that adapts to various contexts, from the most classic to the most modern, affirming its contemporary nature, which endures over time.
Lokum by Sabine Marcelis
Matter, light and colour come together in an intense material dialogue in the Lokum series of low tables, designed by Sabine Marcelis for Acerbis. A collection that embodies the elegance of pure forms, elevated through the artisanal use of blown glass. Sabine Marcelis, known for her poetic and precise use of reflective surfaces and colour nuances, has created a collection of ethereal grace capable of providing extraordinary plays of light and shadow. Lokum is available in rectangular and square versions in two different shades – amber and smoky – and offers great flexibility of use, either as a single piece or in combination with other elements to create unique and customised configurations. Lokum represents the tangible result of the Dutch designer’s ability to transform material into a work of art.

Élitra by Pietro Russo
A shell defines the structure and shape of Élitra storage cabinet, whether wall-mounted or floor-standing. The collection is characterised by soft shapes, thanks to two curved elements at the back that define the volumes, making them light and harmonious. The versatility and personality of each object allow it to be used either individually or in combination with other elements of the same collection, thus creating an open and modular system. Elegant in its two variants, low and high (the latter with visible glass shelves), Élitra faithfully reflects the spirit of Acerbis in the careful selection of materials and finishes. In continuity with the historical identity of the company, the structure is available in dark stained walnut or black ash wood, with matching or glossy lacquered doors, or in the fully lacquered version. A piece of furniture designed with a strong identity, beyond transitory trends.

Due Più by Nanda Vigo
Nanda Vigo’s armchair known as Due Più is an astonishing, enigmatic object where the use of two rollers that look like they’re floating makes for truly unique features. Futurist in aspect, we can see it as an emblematic design blending Vigo’s two souls: the esprit de géométrie that shines through the minimalist metallic structure with its light reflection, and an eccentric, pioneering spirit apparent in the use of Mongolian fur. Currently presented by Acerbis with a steel frame and furs reclaimed from food industry waste, according to circular economy principles that make it compatible with contemporary ethics.

Free System by Claudio Salocchi
In 1973, Claudio Salocchi designed Free System: a system of padded furniture deriving from the concept of “operated flooring”, or tatami, where the padded units could be placed freely side by side. With its completely modular and sectional elements and from the perspective of an optimal use of space, we can view Free System as the embodiment of the modern house utopia. A programme of padded furniture that goes beyond the sofa model, Free System presents a series of elements (tatami, pouf and seat with different and interchangeable backrests) that make up a modular system that can be arranged in a variety of combinations.

Acerbis x Gucci
From an idea of Creative Director Sabato De Sarno and co-curated by Michela Pelizzari founder of P:S, Gucci Design Ancora celebrates symbols of Italianity and Milanese style through the re-edition of five objects from a bygone era with the intention of representing contemporaneity through the interpretation of their iconicity. Tinted in Gucci Rosso Ancora, the House’s signature red hue, a special edition of Nanda Vigo’s Storet is one of the protagonists of the exhibition project by architect Guillermo Santomà inside the Gucci flagship store on Monte Napoleone 7, Milan.
