Tumurun Museum in Surakarta, Indonesia is proud to present “Transitory Nature of Earthly Joy”, a solo exhibition by an important Indonesian artist Albert Yonathan Setyawan.

“Transitory Nature of Earthly Joy” is meant to bring our attention to contemplate on ideas such as transformation, impermanence and the ever changing nature of our material existence. It is an expanded form of one of the artworks presented in last year survey exhibition “Capturing Silence” (in Yogyakarta, 2023) which will present 12 new works consisting of some ceramic installations and objects made of raw clay and seeds.

The exhibition will be opened for public from June 8th, 2024 – January 12th, 2025.
