The Purity of the Tube Becomes the Architecture of Water
Stripped back to its most essential form, Tubex is a stainless steel faucet collection where geometry, material, and precision come together with quiet confidence. Designed by Massimiliano Settimelli for Zazzeri, the collection explores the tube as a primary design element—allowing form and function to merge through clarity, proportion, and material integrity, ahead of its preview at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026.

Crafted entirely from AISI 316L stainless steel, Tubex embraces the intrinsic qualities of the material: strength, durability, resistance to corrosion, and a naturally refined brilliance. Cylindrical profiles define both spout and handle, resulting in a linear silhouette free from decorative excess. Every surface and proportion is carefully calibrated, letting the material itself become the defining gesture of the design.

Formal research is expressed through a deliberate reduction of details, including the removal of the traditional oblique cut at the back of the handles—applied across both lever and leverless versions. This decision enhances visual continuity and reinforces the project’s quietly architectural character.

The collection is available in brushed and polished steel finishes, complemented by six PVD variants—Carbon, Anthracite, Bronzorame, Rame, Cognac, and Orobianco. This nuanced palette allows Tubex to move effortlessly between rigorous minimalism and warmer, more tactile interior settings.

Two handle options complete the system. In the lever version, a tubular control element integrates seamlessly into the mixer body, with a circular opening that subtly echoes the geometry of the spout. The cylindrical handle offers a more compact expression, featuring a circular insert that defines the joint with precision. The insert can match the faucet finish or be customized for a refined contrast, adding depth without disrupting the collection’s formal coherence.
Conceived as a complete system, Tubex spans washbasin mixers in multiple heights, wall-mounted configurations with varying spout lengths, bidet mixers, and shower controls—including two new showerhead models. Through this collection, Zazzeri continues its exploration of material honesty and design clarity, transforming a primary form into a timeless architectural language for water.
