Case Study Spaces
Known for its modular approach to contemporary interiors, Zalf continues to explore living spaces through systems designed to evolve over time. Presented during Fuorisalone Milano, the brand introduces a new living configuration within Case Study Spaces, a project that interprets the home as an open and adaptable system.
Rather than presenting fixed interiors, the concept proposes flexible design scenarios where modules, volumes, and colours interact through a coherent structural logic. Within this framework, the new Zalf living composition expands the system into an increasingly transversal dimension, seamlessly bridging different functions within the living area while maintaining visual balance and architectural clarity.

At the heart of the composition is the reinterpretation of the fitted wall as a light yet structural architectural element. The suspended Freespace upright system creates a balanced configuration that appears visually lighter thanks to its elevated structure. The composition is defined by Plana push&pull doors in Opus Calce and Lava finishes, where the absence of handles reinforces the continuity and purity of the design. The vertical rhythm generated by the structure establishes an ordered and measured composition.
Surface organisation is articulated through Modulor Lava panels, which structure the wall with precision while integrating base storage units and coordinated drawers. Colour plays an integral role in shaping the identity of the system: Lava introduces depth and presence, while Opus Calce adds a luminous and tactile dimension aligned with Zalf’s evolving chromatic palette.

Presented by Magran Living
Through this new configuration, Zalf translates the principles of its Spacemakers vision into the living area—an approach grounded in versatility, continuity, and long-term compatibility. The result is a modular system designed to adapt to the transformations of contemporary living while maintaining formal coherence and structural solidity over time.
