Turning Stone into a Living Canvas for Imagination
Walls&Floors, Monitillo 1980’s newest collection, reveals marble as more than a surface. It invites you into an immersive world where each slab dances with light, shadow, and movement, transforming everyday spaces into sculptural landscapes waiting to be discovered.

The collection is shaped by the vision of internationally acclaimed architects, including Claesson Koivisto Rune, Felix Millory, Virginia Arlotto, Defne Koz, Marco Susani, Emmanuel Gallina, Andrea Maffei, and Chapman Taylor. Their designs play with geometry, texture, and form, creating surfaces that feel at once sophisticated, surprising, and alive.

Cava, by Claesson Koivisto Rune, plays with essential shapes and gentle curves that catch the light in unexpected ways. Dedalo draws on nature, with patterns that flow vertically and horizontally, guiding the eye across the surface. Intreccio, by Virginia Arlotto, reimagines weaving in marble, with delicate engravings that create subtle shadows and depth. Iride combines marble and metal inlays, forming a rhythmic dance of spheres and triangles that feels both precise and playful.

Marea brings bold lines and metallic accents, energizing the space with movement. Parallelo’s minimalist lines offer endless compositional possibilities, creating patterns that shift as the light changes. Profondo contrasts marble’s solidity with soft, flowing forms, while Punto punctuates the surface with circular metal details, adding rhythm and tactility. Scultura and Segni by Felix Millory explore the material’s expressive potential—one sculpted by hand into organic reliefs, the other marked by raw, irregular incisions.

Spacco evokes the textures and folds of natural landscapes, Traccia emphasizes soft oblique lines that create gentle shadows, and Vela rounds it off with elegantly simple forms that feel both modern and warm.
