Split, a Mirror Family by Francesco Forcellini
Tonelli Design, an Italian company specializing in designer glass furnishing accessories and more, launches Split signed by the designer Francesco Forcellini.

Split is a mirror family characterized by a vertical cut; within this cut, two inclined mirrored surfaces reflect the surrounding space and each other, creating a dynamic play of multiplying reflections.

Presented by Zipblind
This collection – says designer Francesco Forcellini – comes from the idea of entering the mirror, into a space beyond. The slit that divides the mirror into two parts also holds the object together, creating new perspectives. Split is a simple sign that wants to bring something special, completely in mirrored glass. It has no frame and its proportions and formal balance are simply given by the vertical split.

This mirror has two levels of interpretation, one very graphic in the overall view, and a second more magical and intimate, which can only be perceived when approaching the split. The mirrors on the central part of the split can be of different colors from those on the sides, thus obtaining a more or less marked effect. Thanks to its formal simplicity and single-materiality, this mirror has the characteristic of being easily placed both in modern contexts and in more classic and traditional ones, making any environment refined.
