Tom Dixon 24-Hours Series Goes to Shanghai

“DIXONARY”
3 Juni 2021 lalu menjadi hari bersejarah bagi Tom Dixon dimana mereka telah menyelenggarakan “24 Hours in Shanghai” sebagai bagian program 24-Hours Series.


Pada ajang Design Shanghai, Tom Dixon merayakannya melalui “24 Hours in Shanghai” yang tidak hanya menampilkan beragam koleksi juga menyediakan beragam aktivitas digital mulai dari seminar hingga ‘meet and greet’ dengan sang desainer dalam bentuk hologram.
Tom Dixon mengatakan “The 24 Hours in Shanghai project is not just a means of showing the latest ideas from Tom Dixon, nor is it just a means of explaining the history of the brand, it really is a chance to meet new friends and collaborators in China, not just from the emerging powwrful young designer community, but also artists in floristy, food and music, to engage with old friends and also to discuss the future of prouduct and interior design.”

Melalui acara ini, Tom Dixon secara resmi memperkenalkan koleksi edisi terbatas dengan material 100% alumininum daur ulang, Hydro Chair. Llau Melt Lighting hasil kolaborasi dengan Front, Beat Water Vessel yang dibuat dalam keahlian khusus artisan craftsmen di Utara India, Fat Chair dengan desain seakan memeluk dalam kehangatan, dan Tank Glassware untuk pengalaman minum lebih istimewa.

“24 Hours in Shanghai” merupakan kampanye pertama di luar Eropa dimana sebelumnya telah terlaksana di Paris, Copenhagen, Stockholm, dan Milan. Nantikan 24 Hours Series selanjutnya di New York pada bulan November 2021 mendatang.
