A Capsule Collection: A Pouf, A Pillow Case and A Blanket

Laneus, the Italian knitwear brand, debuts in home interiors with an exclusive collaboration with French artist Thomas Lélu. Unveiled at Milan Design Week in Cinque Vie district., this fusion of fashion and design features a limited-edition home décor capsule.

The collection includes a pouf, pillowcase, and blanket, reinterpreting Laneus’ signature jacquard in neutral tones with piqué details and raised embroidery. A mix of cotton yarns—contrasting glossy and matte finishes with soft bouclé—balances rustic charm and refined elegance. Each piece bears one of three exclusive quotes by Lélu, including an ironic manifesto for Salone del Mobile.

Lélu will also perform a live art session on April 9, creating three canvas works available for purchase. Limited signed A3 serigraphs will also be on offer.

Known for his handwritten quotes blending irony and introspection, Lélu’s nomadic, free-spirited creativity aligns with Laneus’ vision of craftsmanship and contemporary innovation.

“Why do people like my quotes? Because they’re written in biro, and I make a lot of spelling mistakes,” he quips.
