A Milestone Marked by Gratitude, Connection, and Community Impact
Four years since its debut, The Langham, Jakarta has solidified its position as one of the capital’s premier destinations for luxury hospitality. This September marking the milestone, the hotel shifted the spotlight outward with a week-long programme focused on gratitude and community engagement.

The series of initiatives included a tumpengan lunch with colleagues at Palm Court, meal distributions in the SCBD neighbourhood, and a visit to Sekolah Kami, where the culinary team prepared lunch for students. The programme continued at Panti Yatim Indonesia in Kebayoran Baru with donations and shared activities, before concluding with Blessed Friday at District 8 — a large-scale food sharing session following Friday prayers.

“At The Langham, Jakarta, our anniversary is not just a celebration of the past four years, but of the relationships we have built along the way,” said Alexander Poindl, General Manager. “Our story is written not only within the walls of the hotel, but also in the community around us. Sharing joy and giving back is, for us, the most genuine way of saying thank you.”

Director of Sales and Marketing, Debby Setiawaty, added that the fourth anniversary reflects the hotel’s gratitude to the people and communities that have supported its journey.

As the hotel enters its fifth year, The Langham, Jakarta underscores its commitment to a hospitality philosophy that combines refined service with empathy, generosity, and meaningful connection.
