Ambre Boutique
French and Cambodian fashion is at the core of Romyda Keth’s work. The Ambre Boutique, located at The Aviary Square, is Keth’s lifework, full of inspiration from local artisans and materials such as Khmer silk while reminiscent of Parisian couture all at once. This designer’s work is far from one-dimensional, as she explores her youth in Cambodia and her migration to Paris and Prague during the civil war and the 30 years after that.
Theam’s Gallery
Better known as the heart of Cambodia’s art scene, Theam’s Local Gallery House showcases a culmination of local Cambodian art and artifacts, showcasing pieces like the Buddha in Bronze and the Bayon Face. Owned by Lim Muy Theam, this gallery has long served as an epicenter of art empowerment. Theam focuses on reviving the Cambodian art scene, which fell to scarcity after the war, by investigating, displaying, and teaching about Khmer art. This gallery features tasteful traditional Khmer art and contemporary art centered around the modern personality of Cambodia.
Develter Studio
From Marilyn Monroe to Nelson Mandela, the Develter Studio features some of history’s most renowned personalities and is centered around Christian Develter’s work. Inspired by modern art and ancient Burmese traditions, Develter’s work is essentially the intersection between tradition, heritage, and contemporary art. His most renowned collection, the Chin Urban and Tribal Series, features the Chin women of Myanmar who are known for their traditional facial tattoos.

This artifact dates back to the 7th century and is at the core of Cambodia’s heritage, alongside other Khmer sculptures, bas-reliefs, and inscriptions.
Kandal Village: Tribe Gallery and the Little Red Fox Espresso Cafe
With rows of streets lined with cafes, artisanal stores, and fashion stores, Kandal Village is the perfect spot to get lost in. The Little Red Fox Espresso has some of the best coffee in town and, with its Khmer pop art from the 50s-70s on its walls, is one of the most unique cafes in town.
