This designer’s work is far from one-dimensional, as she explores her youth in Cambodia and her migration to Paris and Prague during the civil war and the 30 years after that.

Theam’s Gallery
Better known as the heart of Cambodia’s art scene, Theam’s Local Gallery House showcases a culmination of local Cambodian art and artifacts, showcasing pieces like the Buddha in Bronze and the Bayon Face. Owned by Lim Muy Theam, this gallery has long served as an epicenter of art empowerment. Theam focuses on reviving the Cambodian art scene, which fell to scarcity after the war, by investigating, displaying, and teaching about Khmer art.
