Showcasing The Primal Beauty Of Czech Handblown Glass

Renowned for its handblown Czech glass, SkLO returns to Euroluce 2025 with an inspired collection of lighting designs that fuse tradition with modernity. The showcase takes place at Salone del Mobile, Pavilion 10, Stand B06, April 8–13.

Karen Gilbert, Paul Pavlak, and Pavel Hanousek

Angle Pendants: Ethereal and Expansive
Born from simple sketches, Angle Pendants evoke celestial constellations with asymmetrical, floating compositions. Brass armatures extend across space, each topped with a unique, handblown glass diffuser that subtly varies in thickness, emphasizing craftsmanship. Available in custom lengths, nine glass finishes, and two hardware options, these pendants lend elegance to dining spaces, lofts, and hospitality interiors.

“I love their planar simplicity,” says Paul Pavlak, Partner & Lead Designer. “Large yet delicate, they shift dynamically as you move through the space.”

Dome Sconce by Karen Gilbert: Strength Meets Radiance
Expanding the Dome collection, the Dome Sconce (LED) reimagines its signature oversized chain for wall installations. Designed by Karen Gilbert, the piece balances robust metalwork with softly glowing glass. Customizable in chain length, metal finishes, and four frosted glass colors, it seamlessly adapts to both classic and contemporary interiors.

“We kept the proportions but introduced new geometries,” Gilbert explains. “The chain’s versatility transforms the mood of the piece.”

Dot Sconce/Ceiling: Playful and Minimal
With a bold, graphic aesthetic, the Dot Sconce/Ceiling features candy-hued, handblown glass diffusers set against a circular brass canopy. Available in one-, two-, or three-light versions, it comes in nine opaque glass colors and four brass finishes, allowing endless customization.
