A reversible design offering two distinct configurations
With the Voilà armchair, Italian designer Nicola Pavan introduces a refined piece that explores the dialogue between heritage craftsmanship and contemporary innovation for Saba Italia.

At the heart of the design lies a deceptively simple yet clever gesture. By turning the upholstered padding upside down, the armchair transforms: the backrest becomes the seat and the seat becomes the backrest. This reversible concept offers two distinct seating experiences while subtly altering the chair’s visual identity.

The sculptural frame, crafted from solid ash wood, features gently sinuous lines and is available in a range of stained finishes. Paired with upholstery from the brand’s extensive textile collection, the chair allows for numerous combinations of materials and colors. An optional quilted side adds another layer of customization, emphasizing the piece’s tactile and visual richness.

The Voilà armchair also reflects a thoughtful approach to sustainability. Each component is fully separable to facilitate material recovery, while the upholstery is entirely removable—an approach that aligns contemporary design with responsible production principles.
