Celebrating 100+6 Years, 100+6 Stories
For over a century, Italian furniture maker Riva1920 has championed the enduring beauty of solid wood, balancing generations of craftsmanship with contemporary design. At Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, the brand marks its 106th anniversary with a new collection and 100+6: From Nature to Home, a special project exploring the journey of wood from its natural origins into timeless furniture through authenticity, craftsmanship, and lasting design.

The journey begins with From Nature, where six wood species that define Riva1920’s identity take centre stage. Reclaimed Kauri, Briccole, Cedar, and Barrique, together with responsibly reforested Oak and Walnut, are reimagined through limited-edition interpretations of the brand’s iconic designs, celebrating the distinctive character and enduring beauty of solid wood.

The story continues with To Home, where one hundred signature pieces are presented alongside Riva1920’s 2026 collection. Among the first introductions are the ECLISSE vanity desk and PIN coat stand by Authentic Design, together with the PARENTESI bookcase and PLEIADI armchair by Carlesi Tonelli, reflecting the brand’s enduring approach to craftsmanship and contemporary living.

Beyond the anniversary installation, the exhibition showcases a series of new designs, from the CRU wine cabinet with its backlit onyx finish and the sculptural SUISEKI collection to the PAPILIO table paired with DUNE chairs, the AQUA bookshelf and sideboard, and the monolithic LINEA 45 kitchen. Completing the residential setting are the URCA collection, the CREUS armchair with its newly introduced footstool, the MA room divider, and the HIVE storage unit, highlighting Riva1920’s continued dialogue between innovation, craftsmanship, and the enduring beauty of solid wood.

Presented at the Riva1920 Building during Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, the exhibition brought together heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary design, reaffirming the brand’s enduring vision of solid wood furniture for modern living.
