A Dreamlike Universe Onto Everyday Objects
For Milan Design Week 2025, Fornasetti’s latest creations play with scale, transforming grandiose elements into miniature forms. Inspired by his signature technique of shrinking monumental subjects—from 16th-century palaces to the solar system—Fornasetti reimagines them on everyday objects like lamps, clocks, dishes, and candles. The new collection adapts this concept to the modern home, creating a dreamlike environment where each piece interacts in surprising ways.

Referring to Fornasetti’s decorative world, as Patrick Mauriès writes in his book ‘Fornasetti, practical madness’, all sense of proportion vanishes, points of reference falter; and one’s gaze is left to drift freely in the geometry of illusion.

Presented by Coulisse | INK
The new collection and novelties will be unveiled at Fornasetti store, Corso Venezia 21/a in Milan, from 7 to 13 April 2025.
