A Dining Armchair by Favaretto & Partners Celebrating Refined Wood Craftsmanship
Rooted in a long tradition of wood craftsmanship, Potocco continues to explore contemporary living through furniture designed for both interior and outdoor spaces.
Previewing at Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026, the brand introduces Stadium, a dining armchair designed by Favaretto & Partners. The piece marks the beginning of a new collection that also includes a chair, an armchair, and a lounge chair, reflecting Potocco’s ongoing dialogue between traditional craftsmanship and contemporary design.

Defined by soft volumes and elliptical sections, Stadium presents a sculptural yet welcoming silhouette. The backrest flows seamlessly into the armrests in a continuous gesture that forms an elongated ellipse, creating an enveloping shape while maintaining visual lightness. Crafted from solid ash wood, the design highlights the woodworking expertise of Potocco, while upholstery enhances both comfort and balance.
The collaboration also carries a personal legacy for the Favaretto family. As Francesco Favaretto explains, the relationship between the studio and Potocco dates back more than three decades.

“The collaboration with Potocco goes back more than thirty years, when my father Paolo designed the Forcola chair for the company, later mentioned at the Compasso d’Oro in 1991. Today that journey opens a new chapter, with new collections including Stadium.”
At the fair, the armchair will be presented within a newly conceived exhibition space designed by Lorenzo Bini with exhibition design by Chiara Andreatti. The stand unfolds as a sequence of domestic settings—from living and dining areas to bedroom and lounge—defined by architectural lines softened by warm tones and natural materials. Inspired by Japanese shoji screens, layered openings reveal glimpses of an outdoor garden where Potocco’s exterior collections extend the narrative of the interiors.

A founding member of the fair since 1961, Potocco presents the installation in Hall 11, Booth C22–C24, marking a new position within the exhibition layout for the 2026 edition.
