The Timeless Collection

• The opening of the 450 m² flagship store is scheduled for April, the same time as the Milan Design Week.

Ornare, the international brand of custom-made, high-standard furniture, announces the opening of its first flagship store in Europe, located in Milan, Italy. The place chosen to house the 450m² unit was the imposing Palazzo Gallarati, dating from the 18^th century, in the renowned Quadrilatero della Moda on Via Manzoni, a region known for its many high-end brands. The opening is scheduled for April 2024.

The Timeless Collection, developed by Studio Ornare under the direction of Murillo Schattan, will be the main feature of the new flagship store alongside the new Colette line, a 2024 launch of the brand.

“Ornare is ready to delight and inspire, bringing the experience of high-end furniture to levels of sophistication and innovation with its exclusive collections,” says Esther Schattan, Founding Partner of the brand.

With a design full of personality and no excesses, the collection is made of timeless furniture built to last generations. Combining certified solid wood with high technology and precise manufacturing ensures a high-quality and long-lasting result. Visitors to the Milan flagship can check the Timeless Bookshelf, Timeless Closet, Timeless Beauty, Edge Desk, and Timeless Bar lines. The Colette line stands out for its various compositions and elegant design. It includes several ornaments, such as corbels, baseboards, ceiling plaster moldings, shelves, legs of tables, table tops, cupboards, and doors with carved frames inspired by the boiserie technique.

The setting also includes kitchens in the lines Minimal, Round, Linear, Shaker, and Colette; walk-in closets of the Stripe, 270º, Ikigai, Wall System, Crystal Case, and a Move panel; a Little Luxury Beauty cabinet set, and accessories such as puff chairs, Shaker bars, and Ornare coat racks.

Prominent collaborations are planned for the opening event, which is expected to happen in April 2024, coinciding with the Milan Design Week. In addition, during the event, the Art All Around Project will be presented in collaboration with the art specialist Marina Conde and in partnership with Brazilian galleries such as Fortes D’Aloia & Gabriel and Galeria VANDL, as well as international artists such as the German Veronika Kelldorfer, the Italian Lorenzo Pingitore and the Spanish José Luis Puche.

“This initiative will transform our showroom into a living art gallery, providing a unique experience by combining design and artistic expression. The space will be occupied by artworks by talented artists in partnership with prestigious galleries, establishing an innovative dialogue between contemporary artistic diversity and our exclusive Ornare furniture”, adds Esther.
