Before Milan Design Week unfolds, this is an early glimpse into the projects shaping the season—where design, atmosphere, and everyday rituals intersect.

At Nilufar Depot, Nilufar Grand Hotel takes shape as a fictional hotel beyond time and space—one that approaches hospitality not as a service, but as an experience shaped by collectible design, objects, and atmosphere. Rather than presenting a conventional exhibition, the Depot is transformed into a sequence of spaces that feel intimate, layered, and quietly lived in.
The experience unfolds through four signature bedrooms imagined by david/nicolas, Filippo Carandini, Allegra Hicks, and Bethan Laura Wood. Each room offers its own mood—where material choices, textures, and objects suggest personal rituals rather than fixed displays, blurring the boundaries between domestic space and exhibition design.

This sense of dialogue continues through new works by Andrea Mancuso, Maximilian Marchesani, and Christian Pellizzari, alongside the debut of both established and emerging practices at the Depot, including Von Pelt Atelier and Derin Beren Yalcin. Together, these contributions create a rhythm that feels intuitive—less about statement pieces, more about how objects coexist within a shared environment.
More than an exhibition, Nilufar Grand Hotel reflects Nilufar’s ongoing approach to design as a cultural and expressive practice—one that values storytelling, experimentation, and emotional resonance. Here, hospitality becomes a framework for connection, where design is experienced slowly, through atmosphere and everyday gestures.

Beyond the Depot, this narrative extends through Nilufar’s presence at Salone Raritas, the inaugural initiative by Salone del Mobile.Milano dedicated to collectible design and exceptional craftsmanship.
