In Three Distinct Formats: Dining, Bar and Coffee
Marking the centenary of Danish design pioneer Verner Panton, Montana Furniture reintroduces the Panton Table with a refreshed palette and expanded formats—an elegant tribute to one of modern design’s most radical voices.

Originally conceived in 1973, the Panton Table remains a distilled expression of Panton’s vision. Defined by its circular top and singular pedestal base, the design reduces structure to a refined central column—balancing sculptural clarity with everyday functionality. It embodies the designer’s experimental approach to form, material, and proportion.

The relaunch introduces three distinct formats—Dining, Bar, and Coffee—each offered in a range of sizes suited to both residential and contract settings. Alongside these new proportions, Montana expands the table’s chromatic possibilities, presenting 21 tabletop colours paired with eight frame finishes. The result is a highly adaptable piece that integrates seamlessly into diverse interiors while preserving its iconic identity.

As CEO Joakim Lassen notes, the updated formats and extended palette position the Panton Table for contemporary modes of living and working. The relaunch also signals the beginning of Montana’s centenary celebrations, with further initiatives set to unfold during 3 days of design.
